Robin Holder [1952-⁣ painter, printmaker, storyteller, art educator, Ms. Multi-Layered.⁣

Robin Holder was born in Chicago, IL. Both autobiographical and universal, her work “employ[s] a combination of techniques to create social justice narratives that explore painful cultural, racial, social and religious conflicts...[her] images inspire community building dialogue addressing challenges of our extraordinary diverse society.”

Holder served as a member-artist, Community Outreach Coordinator and as Program Director at the Robert Blackburn studio for over a decade. During her tenure, Holder worked alongside Elizabeth Catlett, Emma Amos and many more amazing artists. Holder’s work has been collected globally. She has traveled, exhibited and taught art education extensively—over three decades as a printmaker. ⁣
