One printmaker that we all share a love for is Elizabeth Catlett. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣


Catlett was born in Washington, D.C. to parents who worked in education and was the grandchild of African Americans who were freed from chattel slavery in the U.S. A Howard University graduate, her career spanned more than 70 years.⁣⁣⁣
